It's not exactly easy to convince Mara to pose, to stand in the light, not to run away from the frame. But when I manage to photograph it, it only takes a few things to create the story I have in mind. In these photos, a diaphanous outfit, a toy car and a castle in the background were all that was needed to make Mara look like she was plucked from a story from the last century.
